Important Information Regarding Internet Setup
for your Alcatel WebTouch Phone

 If you don't have an Internet Account yet, signup for a new account now: Online Signup

 

Gather the following information about your Internet Account

Dialup Settings:

  • Login (Dialup Username)
  • Password (Dialup Password)
  • Phone Number (Dialup Access Number)

Email Settings:

  • Email Address
  • Mail Username
  • Mail Password
  • In Mail Server (Incoming Mail Server)
  • Out Mail Server (Outgoing Mail Server)

 

Internet Setup Instructions for your Webtouch Phone

 

  1. From the main screen, press the Setup icon on the touch screen.  Press the Internet icon on the Setup menu, then press the Connection Settings button.
  2. On the Connection Settings screen, fill in the Internet connection dialup settings provided by your Internet Service Provider. There may be some default factory settings already entered on this screen already; just delete these. Note regarding passwords: the password will be hidden and will show up as asterisks.

  1. Click Ok, then click OK again on the next screen. You should now be back at the Setup screen.
  2. Click the Email icon.
  3. To setup email, fill in the email settings provided by your Internet Service Provider:

In Mail Server:

Out Mail Server:

 

     Your Email Address goes here

     Email Password here                                           

     Incoming Mail Server here                                     

     Outgoing Mail Server here                                     
  1. Click Ok
  2. Setup is now complete. To exit back to the main screen, press the crescent shaped button on your unit.
